just got back from the doctor

(who happens to be my high school boyfriend’s dad … awk)

and apparently I have to have a zillion tests run and I just had to get blood drawn and a TB test and all these vaccines and like, what?! Also the point of this post is mainly that my new adult doctor is now my ex-boyfriend’s dad and it was weird. At first I thought it would be no big deal … probably because I haven’t been to an actual doctor since before college. Did you know doctors lift up your shirt to check out things in your chest? And ask you if you’ve seen a gynecologist and if your Pap smear was fine?? And of course they need to know what medications you’re on and since the only things I take are like, birth control and Claritin, that was weird.

ANYWAY it’ll probably be the only time I have to see him except to get the results back, because I’ll just see the health center people at Chatham and then move somewhere else and have a new doctor there. I just know that he accepts our insurance because, oh yeah, both my parents and both stepparents see him too. Cool.
